World’s First 2TB 7200RPM HDD From Hitachi


Hitachi has finally launched the world’s first 7200RPM 2TB hard drive for the mass market. The 2TB Deskstar 7K2000 combines high performance and high capacity with low power and other eco-friendly features designed to enable Energy-Star rated computers and other high performance desktop systems. A two Terabytes hard drive is more than enough to collect HD quality movies, or thousands of MP3 files. No info on pricing at this time.
